Great coffee. Good WiFi. Food looked good but I didn’t have any.

This kitchy little coffee shop near the University of Glasgow was the perfect place for us to stop on our first day in Scotland. We got right off the plane and started a long day of touring the city. Needless to say we were exhausted, but had to keep moving. This cafe was the perfect place for us to caffinate.

They offer the basic European coffee styles (cappuccino, latte, etc.), but they also have soya and oat milk available for lactose intolerant people and vegans. They also had some light food and pastry options, though we didn't get any. The pricing was reasonable too, even for the soya/oat milk up charge!  The coffee was delicious and strong. Just what we needed.

The staff was pleasant. The atmosphere was excellent. It was definitely geared towards the University students. The decor was eclectic. The tables and study nooks were closely packed to maximize seating. My favorite bit was the random books scattered around the cafe.  My husband quizzed me on interesting beer facts he found in one of the books. Oddly I got most of them right, even though I don't drink beer!

Overall, I think it's a great little place to stop if you are in the area.

The place could be described as vintage-eclectic, the coffee is good, but the cheese scone is divine.
Quiet, yet quite busy.

Love the coffee. The brioche. Wish if the refurbish it to get more space and extra light.

Fantastic coffee. They know exactly what they're doing. Wish I lived closer to them.

Highly recommend by a waitress in the restaurant we dined in, this little funky cafe didn't disappoint us. The staff is not only friendly but very generously gave us extra potion of cake. Coffee is absolutely lovely so as the desserts. Will definitely return!

The coffee here is delicious. I was so happy to see so many coffee-brew options: pour-over, chemex, French-press, and aero-press. I was not impressed by my cheeses scone, but they did seem to offer quite a wide variety of food options.

Great Cafe with a creative menu. They have really nice healthy salads for not too much. They also have really good coffee and a wide variety of selection in types of coffee

Probably the best coffee in Glasgow. Staff is extremely friendly and wellcoming. Prices are normal. However, most of the time it is full of coffee lovers and you have a hard time finding an empty spot. They also provide lunch but I've never tried it; possibly its gone before you get downstairs to order it.

One of the best Coffee houses around. Brilliant coffee, lovely staff and a comfortable atmosphere to enjoy your coffee in.

Quirky friendly and great coffee (most importantly!). Brownie was amazing. Had a macchiato which was strong and smooth. Definitely recommend this laid back place just to sit back and relax. Sandwiches here too but didn't try.

Some of the most delightful subtlety spiced aubergine soup I've ever tasted. Lovely coffee too
