We are pleased to advise that we will be running the Artisan Tartisan event in Autumn 2016.

We are delighted to announce that Country Ways will also be part of the Artisan Tartisan fashion event. Specialising in country, leisure and equestrian wear, it will be great to see some of their ranges during the catwalk displays.
So how did this event come about.....Laetitia Galesloot, an MSc Fashion Student at RGU came up with the idea of celebrating the best of Scotland through showcasing fashion and ultimately the nicest things in life.
Having assisted with the New York Fashion Week and CFDA Awards in 2010, Laetitia thought it was important to show there is more than Oil and Gas in the Aberdeen area.
Inspired by the colours and scenery of the Scottish Highlands and tartans and tweeds she is keen to celebrate proud Scottish heritage and traditions.
The countdown is on - only two weeks to go to this amazing event in Aberdeen. Don't miss out!

A little more about Scottesque...
"Tartan with a twist" is how customers describe their designs. By drawing on traditional ways of wearing tartan whilst adding something new to the mix, the result is fresh & contemporary. The business is run by Jan Shaw and her team of seamstresses & assistants, with every item made locally in the vicinity of Aberdeen. Every piece is proudly labelled "Designed and Made in Scotland".

Award-winning artisan chocolatier Iain Burnett trained under Master Chocolatiers of the Belgian, Swiss and French schools. Iain and his team provide top chefs with gourmet truffles of an artisan quality unavailable elsewhere.
