Society for sustainable development

The Sustainable Society was founded in September 2011 as a society of the Anglia Ruskin University. The initiative to found this society came from some second year International Business students from the Berlin-Cambridge Pathway who already got involved in sustainable development during their first year of study in Berlin.
The idea which stands behind the Sustainable Society is to look further in business than only generating and maximising profits. Achieving a greater awareness of the world’s most threatening economic, environmental and social problems and how to implement a sustainable development are of our vast interest.
