The staff are always really friendly, kind, and patient even though the dog is an absolute nightmare!

Not the best service and have doubts about them. After all the money we spend in there, they wouldn't release one of our dogs medication as I only had £40 in my pocket when the bill was £60. I explained the money was in the house and I'd be right back along with it but still they wouldn't give the medication

Great staff and really care about the animals

We have always received a very high level of care for our cats here. With friendly staff that take the time to get to know our animals.

My ozzy went through a traumatic blocked bladder and the care and attention he received was outstanding from the vets and nurses and receptionist....highly recommend if you want the personal touch and compassion

We took our 18 yr old cat who had suffered a severe collapse. We were seen immediately and treated with the greatest of respect and kindness. We have been clients there for 30 yrs with a variety of pets and would not go anywhere else.

If i could have gave a -5 i would have. This vet is a complete disgrace. Mr wallace (son) is a liabilty and extremely arrogant he wears his compassion on the sole of his foot! I found out the hard way what sort of animal practice this was, i had heard so many bad stories however like anything i gave them the chance. I took my dog there a few months ago as he was dragging his paws and very clumpsy my first thought possible anemic or arthiritis. I went in with these suggestions to be told he had no explanation for the paw dragging and bleeding however a full set of bloods would be carried out! I was told ajay had a possible under active thyroid test for being anemic were not done. I never started treatment for thyroid as he was diet controlled wanted to start natural first as anyone would animal or human. Weeks passed and 3 week ago i rushed my ajay into vet as brought up alot of blood from back passage and sick. Took samples in also was told straight away by dr wallace ( the father) that ajay had clearly been anaemic for a long time (his son never seen this even though i did!!) Mr wallace gave ajay 2 injections, dehydration sachet and tablets for over night and told to return in morning with ajay in empty stomach. I did this we sat up all night with him he was cuddling in and playing happily with his brother no upset etc. When returned at 10am were told ajay would need £4800 worth test/treatment for either cancer or an foreign body, however being so anemic the chances were high the aneastic would have killed him. I had to make a horrible decision to let our boy go to sleep and enjoy his happy healthy life he had until this practice got near him. ***Not as they stated put to sleep as costs to high!!*** Complete lie, we asked what were the chances and the best decision for ajay was they suggested going to sleep instead of suffering. There service once ajay was sleeping etc was also a fairlure as they use a reputable company called larkhall creamtorium who are fantastic and ashbank offered nothing other than an industrial estate with choice or 2 caskets. Also the direct cost frim larkhall for our choice would have been £190 they charged £345. (Even though we would have paid £1000 its not the point taki g advantage of upset families whos pets they killed) I was so disgusted by everything i refused to go back contacted larkhall direct who are amazing and give the send of all animals deserve, with the upmost respect. We withdrew all accounts of our pets and found our more horrifying stories that they had our 3 dogs accounts mixed up and also said 2 of our dogs have been bitten where not 1 of them had ever been they even had something as simple as there coat colours wrong!! We took there notes to another vet for 2nd opinion and were basically told our worst nightmare was clarified we diagnosed our ajay correctly and ashbank killed our healthy loving 7year old pup! If you have an animal here please dont be silly like i was and think bad reviews arent always the case. I have pages of evidence to prove otherwise and i am happy to explain and go into details further to help save someone elses loving pet and family from the heart ache we went through in memory of our beautiful boy.
