Ashton House Medical Practice: Dr I Kennedy
Reviews
My and my wife experience since now is absolutely perfect. Dr Kennedy is a very careful and human doctor always ready to listen and help. The nurse that performs blood test is really friendly and very professional. The staff at the reception is really supportive and kind. It can be a bit crowded sometime, but the waiting room is very comfortable. Furthermore, as a non native English speaker I found this practice really welcoming and dedicated to make you understand all the details. Last but not least is really well positioned, near Hillhead subway station and most of the centra line bus stops.
Fantastic!
I developed a severe chest infection when I came down to Glasgow on a work trip for a week. I called a few other places and I was told by the receptionists "to take some paracetamol for a cold" and I never managed to book an emergency GP appointment which I so badly needed. The lady I called in the Ashton Medical Practice was very helpful on the other hand, the GP who saw me was very empathetic and I received a very good treatment overall.
Been ill for months now. Doc's don't have a clue who I am, never make an attempt to familisarise themselves with my record before I step in room, make the biggest attempt to try and get me out asap, messed up several of my referrals etc etc etc etc etc
Overcrowded. 2 weeks minimum before getting an appointment, which is useless when you're sick, otherwise drop in clinics which are in working day hours, average waiting time 90 mins, makes life very difficult if wanting to be seen. Dot do emergency appointments so if you're acutely sick, you either take time off work, wait the 90 mins or you wait 2 weeks ......
