For almost 230 years Assembly Rooms has been entertaining Edinburgh, with the venue playing host to hundreds of thousands of events, from royal banquets, sell-out Fringe shows and talent contests to concerts, conferences, ceilidhs and public readings by authors such as Dickens, Scott and Thackeray.

Went here for day one of 24 doors of Advent . Beautiful building with stunning features. Our guide for the tour was Mathew, he was very informative and entertaining adding to a pleasant experience.
Was there for my cousins 40th. Great venue.
Was there for a Christmas party in the fifties it is a wonderful place and a unbelievable ballroom,
Have not seen anything here in the states to match it.
The 50+ receptionist woman who was there on Friday and Saturday was fabulous - great customer service :-) Fentimans. Ruaridh Aitken, Assistant Brand Manager.
Stunning venue.
Amazing professional friendly staff. So efficient and lovely. Thank you for your help in allowing me to store my huge Gary Numan prints from the Meet and Greet due to not getting back to my hotel in time to drop them off. You do a fab job thank you for making the experience great!

Stopped several times on the way in, told where to sit then asked to stand until the row was fullÔøΩ however Alex is an accomplished politician , comedian / entertainer / singer and his guests Elain c Smith and Janey goodley ... just brilliant . ÔøΩ for the band and Grangemouth kilts ÔøΩÔøΩ
My a pal from secondary school who I hadn't seen for 35++++ years ÔøΩÔøΩ

My first time visiting venue for Gary Numan gig - AMAZING! Absolutely everyone working there was caring & kind. From the uber efficient lady on Reception to all of the Security & Cloakroom attendants. You put the venues in London to shame - They could all learn from you. Plus venue is spotless & beautiful!
I photographed a wedding on Saturday at the assembley rooms. The staff were incredible and it was definitely one of the most luxurious venues I have had the pleasure of photographing a wedding :)
Gorgeous setting for Niall & Hannah's wedding. Ballroom is all light, white, gold, space, height, huge mirrors and chandeliers.
Such a splendid happy day.
Fantastic venue helped make all our dreams come true for our wedding breathtaking venue. Staff couldn't have helped us anymore and all our guests had an amazing time x
Chris Dugdale is a must. Fantastic magic and mind reading which completely took the audience by surprise. Couldn’t recommend more!!
