Association Of Film And Television Practitioners Scotland Description

AFTPS is currently lobbying for the following:
1. An increase in Scottish-based television commissioning;
2. A national studio /production space for Scotland, capable of attracting productions to the country;
3. Greater support for indigenous Scottish-based production companies;
4. A review of current public sector funding for film and television in Scotland in the light of increased competition both within the UK and abroad.
5. Support for a stand-alone screen agency for Scotland.
