One of the most spacious and unusual wedding venues in, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Aswanley provides a magical backdrop for a wedding. We can look after small intimate family gatherings or up to 250 guests for civil & religious ceremonies, receptions, dinner and dancing.
Aswanley has a unique combination of formal and informal spaces which
means there's flexibility and scope to create a truly individual wedding
day. The 16th Century fortified house and gardens is a fairytale setting for a wedding ceremony. Then once the formalities are over the Victorian barn is the ultimate place to celebrate. The barn has been beautifully renovated that looks great as it is but can also be 'dressed' to create a rustic, vintage or classic look.
Aswanley, Glass, Huntly has a romantic hideaway cottage for newly weds as well as self catering cottages for the wedding party.

At Aswanley we provide rectangular or round dining tables for up to 200 guests. The dining room in the Victorian barn can seat up to 154 people to dine banqueting style. For larger parties, the dance floor can also be used to seat up to 250 people. The most popular setup is rows of rectangular tables with a top table. Rustic Look Aberdeen is a local company specialising in hand made furniture from reclaimed materials. Their wooden trestle tables beautifully compliment the original Victorian beams at Aswanley Wedding Venue.

This time last year Jane & Craig were married at Aswanley - Congratulations on your anniversary! We love reliving this day (Thanks Boda Productions!) Rachel and Gordon were married at Aswanley last September. The bridal party stayed in Wester Park, one of our self catering holiday cottages. They had a humanist ceremony in the fireplace room conducted by Sheila humanist celebrant -IHC and celebrated with music from Callanish Music.
