Atlas Motorhome And Campervan Hire

Our first motorhome trip and it was fantastic. Motorhome was excellent and far exceeded our expectations. We really appreciated the time that was taken to explain the vehicle before we left the depot!

Richard and John were both very friendly and extremely helpful, making the whole booking and hiring experience both easy and fun. Our children (5 and 7) LOVED the holiday, saying it was one of the best we've had - so no more expensive overseas holidays anymore!! The motorhome offered almost all of the facilities needed (we didn't use the shower) and gave us wonderful time together. The best was being able to stop for the kids loo break en route, simultaneously brew up a cuppa and enjoy the stunning Scottish landscape. We had some great family dinners too prepared on the gas stove and eaten round the dining table. Motorhome was very warm too. My husband found it easy to drive - not much different to a big transit van he said and we had some useful guidance from John before setting off on things to be aware of.

My family and I spent 7 days in one of the 6 berth motor homes and we had an absolutely fantastic time.
Booking was really simple and hassle free. On the day of collection, Richard gave us a detailed brief on the use of the motor home and that was it - straight on the road.
The motor homes are designed so fantastically well that it was really easy to drive, set up on camp and live in.
The service provided by the team at Atlas is second to none - I thoroughly recommend them.

Have to say I was thoroughly impressed by Atlas at all stages from answering questions, booking and the actual pickup and drop off. Website is professional with a lot of info and we were able to book and pay early and receive a discount. Lots of prompt response to a number of questions that we had beforehand.

Atlas have a fleet of about 30 vehicles and all are replaced each year so you know that you will have something with a low mileage and clean and tidy.

Handover was v comprehensive and the vehicle included a detailed user guide which was useful.

I'd have no hesitation in using Atlas again which for me is the acid test

Atlas was very professional and helpful throughout the process. We rented a 2+2 vehicle for a family of 4 (2 small kids) for 7 nights. It was clean and equipped just as we ordered. Functionality of the living space was good and the fuel mileage was surprisingly good. We particularly appreciated Atlas's policy of using new vehicles each season.

Our only suggestion would be to include a wastewater hose with the vehicle. We stayed at several sites where we could not take advantage of the at-site drain. But this was a minor limitation that did not hinder us much. We strongly recommend Atlas and would use them again.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Atlas and certainly plan to use them again having had a great 9 days in the motor home. The company were professional and informative before pick up and on return.
Van was spotless on delivery, all equipment was well explained on how to use.
Even at 7.3 metres long the van was easy to drive and park using the mirrors and reversing camera.
The interior of the van was spacious, well equipped and very comfortable.
The bed above the cab did not feel confined and was extremely comfortable.
We had our two Springer Spaniels with us and had more than enough space for them.
The rear storage compartment was spacious and took all our wet weather gear which was needed whilst we travelled the NC500 in rather wet and windy weather.

Van was in immaculate condition when we arrived. The staff are very friendly and also very accommodating. The walk-through that we received was great and very knowledgable (which was needed with all the different parts!) We spent our trip 50/50 between wild "camping" and caravan sites. Having the solar panel on the roof was great, kept us powered for 2 days without connecting to an outlet. Would definitely recommend and return to Atlas. Thanks again!

My daughter and I had a gtreat holiday in a 6 berth van which we chose so she could sleep above the cab. We were new to motor homes and I was a bit shocked by its size but I need nor have worried, Richard took me on a brief driving lesson and driving was great. Richard is super friendly and encouraging. The holiday was brilliant, if we get a chance to repeat it I'll go straight to the islands and spend more time there, brilliant for wild camping (in style). We took the van out at the end of the summer season and there were a number of glitches, did not impair our experience but was a tad disappointing. Having said this I would go back confidently.

Had a luxury 2 berth Fiat van from Atlas for two weeks. Great van, easy pick up and found them easy to deal with. No problems at all. Phoned several times after we orders the van with questions and always found them helpful.
Would recommend and will use again.

Great week after hiring a vehicle from Atlas. The motor home had all I needed to give me a comfortable stay, and an easy driving experience, enjoyed it immensely.

Excellent service from Atlas when we decided to experience a weekend in a motorhome, for the first time!
Richard could not have been more helpful in arranging the hire, allowing us 5 nights instead of a full week.
The van itself was the luxury 2 berth type and had everything we needed. Richard gave us a comprehensive walk through of the facilities on the van and within an hour we were off up North.
If we had one complaint it was that the van was very rattly, whether this is normal we don't know as this ws our first trip.
By the end of the hire we had figured out that most of the rattles came from the oven and that by removing grill pan and tray and leaving oven door open it was a much quieter ride home to Stirling down the A9.
All in all it was great fun and certainly did not put us off the idea of owning a motorhome.
In fact we re heading for the Motorhome show at Birmingham in a cup of weeks time.
