Always amazing to be out climbing in the dry! Charlotte, Tim and I went and did some intense learning in Glen Nevis today. It's great to see these guys progressing every time. We looked at setting up bottom rope anchors for taking their nieces and nephews climbing followed by a cold blast up pinnacle ridge. Spot on for Mark coming to help out today. ¤Æ¬Ōø░ #rockclimbing #jottnar @jottnar @ Glen Nevis

High up on Toubkal in the High Atlas. I'm running a tour here in February, it's been so popular that I've added some more dates. Have a look at the website for more information. Cheers to Will Rowland for the snap!

Theres still a couple of places left on our sunrise trip for next week. The photo is from last year, we had such an amazing time!!!

Hello!
Thanks for your interest about the solstice walk. The aim of the walk is to set off at 2300 on the 20th of June to be on the summit for soltice sunrise at 0534. It takes around 4 hours to ascend but we'll allow 5 as it will be dark.
Have a look at Kate's blog post from last year! ... https://ramblingscotland.co.uk/ŌĆ”/summer -solstice-on-the-ben/
The trip will cost ┬Ż99.00 per person and includes a dram of whisky and some hot chocolate for the top. It will be guided by myself. The aim is to make this a special experience so the group size will be small. No bigger than 8 participants.
As we ascend I aim to guide you through the natural history of Ben Nevis and the West Highlands, chatting about the botany and geology that makes Ben Nevis so special. That's not to say I will be leaving out the history of man's touch on Ben Nevis. Did you know that the first car that Fort William ever saw was the model t ford that drove to the summit in 1911, how mad is that!
If you would like to know more about us as a company we are rated five stars on TripAdvisor and hold a certificate for excellence. We are also certified by visit Scotland as are looking four star activity provider, the only guiding company in Scotland to hold this. For me it's all about giving the customer the best experience!
If you have any questions please pop them here, give me an email at climb@atlasmountaineering.com Or call on 07446191098
To book please send me an email and I can send you a like to the booking forms as well as a kit list for the climb. Payments can be made either through PayPal, bank transfer or over the phone.

I'm sure I don't need to tell you how awesome Ben Nevis is, just in case you didn't know here's a video one of our clients made this week while climbing ledge route. A huge thanks to Syndi Huang for the video and to Casper for guiding and being an expert model.

Wouldn't have made it up Ben Nevis today without our Atlas guide, Alex. Thank you to Atlas Mountaineering for the advice, equipment hire and just generally being great. Highly recommend.

User

What an amazing day we had up Ben Nevis! Connor was such a friendly, knowledgeable guide. Loved hearing all the old stories and discovering the "Nevis Slug" hehe!

Highly recommended *****

Thank you again for a fantastic day!

Thanks to Connor for a brilliant day out on Ben Nevis - couldnŌĆÖt have asked for more for a safe and fun trip up the mountain on a super low visibility morning. And even gave me a great tip for food in Fort William which was delicious and cosy with excellent ale. ’┐Į Highly recommend!

User

Thank you so much Connor, Laura and I had a fantastic time today for our first trip up Ben Nevis. We totally needed your expertise, tips and jokes (!)!) to get us up and down safely! Thanks so much for a brilliant day out ’┐Į

User

Superb day out. Thank goodness we had advice from Connor regarding the equipment otherwise we would have had to turn back before the summit like so many people had to do. Our guide was Alex who was fun, informative and very safety conscientous.

Rob was a fantastic guide in terrible weather up Ben Nevis - we couldn't have done it without him and we had a great adventure!!

Packed lunches were fantastic too.

User

If it wasn't for the amazing Rob who had both the insight as to how to deal with 6 Surrey gals and the fantastic "mountain manner" I am not sure we would have conquered Ben Nevis. He was brilliant. Friendly and fun yet serious when he needed to be. Couldn't have wished for a better guide to keep our spirits and confidence up in the appalling weather conditions. Can not rate him highly enough.

User

Honestly can't sing Connor and extra guide Eve's praises enough. Amazing sense of humour, patience of a very saintly saint, bad jokes but at the right time, blister solving tape, thinks about everyone and uses just the right balance of bossy and niceness to get everyone up AND down Ben Nevis. Had a great group of 20 July 2017. Thank you we owe you a beer! ¤Ź╗¤Ź║

Had the best day walking up Ben Nevis with my sister - Connor was a terrific guide, knew his stuff and looked after after very well and great company too. He even organised good weather for us!! Thanks for everything Connor. PS Do you want to see my pictures??!! :-)

User

Had a great day yomping up Ben Nevis with Connor of Atlas Mountaineering. My daughter was raising money for Children's Hospice South West based in North Devon by getting to the summit. As my own injury stopped me from joining Emma, I needed someone to escort her to the top, especially if the weather turned. Connor was highly recommended to me and I couldn't have been more impressed. He has a relaxed and easy going manner, but underneath there is a hard and experienced mountaineering edge. For me the ideal combination, and as an experienced mountaineer myself I have no hesitation in recommending him to others for day outings in the mountains or more challenging treks expeditions. Have a great year and see you again soon. A trip to Knoydart or the Cullins, or both is definitely on the cards.

Great course run by Altas Mountaineering. Such great guys and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended. Thanks again!

User

Great company and communication, highly recommended, especially if tackling a night expedition. Thank you so much to Rob who took our group of 7 ladies up Ben Nevis by moonlight to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, you were a star ’┐Į It was certainly a challenge- with some adverse weather, along with a few aches and pains we conquered him! Thanks Rob and Conner for all your help ’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į

Excellent day. Great guide. Very knowledgeable Thanks Connor!!

Connor was a fantastic guide! Kept is going through some tough weather. Would highly recommend.

Connor made our first time hiking in the Highlands very special. We're novices at this, and we never would have managed without his expert guidance. He challenged us, but never more than we could handle. I highly recommend Atlas Mountaineering!
