Auchenlarie Holiday Park

We stayed here for two weeks In September, for the time of year the weather was stunning. Had a few Scottish showers!! Waking up each morning over looking Wigtown bay was amazing. The site is lovely really clean and staff friendly and helpful. Shop is not over priced on site facilities are highly recommended. We stayed in the Luxury caravan , hot tub was a fab little extra providing amazing views over the bay. If your lucky on a clear day you can see Isle of Man. The site is very hilly which allows all caravans to have amazing views. My only criticism is that we felt our caravan was a little dated for a luxury caravan ,this would however not prevent us from returning.

Been a van owner for 6 years this is one of the best places to have a caravan there’s always plenty going on and great service 👍🏽

This is one of the most beautiful caravan site. It's really family friendly. The caravans are spotless- so cosy. We enjoyed it so much that my aunt and I are planning on taking my 3 kids again. Also I found the most beautiful views. Auchenlarie really does deserve the 5 stars. I would recommend this site to anyone from couples to families.

It has beautiful views. The beach & inlets were very stoney but nice. Loads to see & do. Beer prices weren't too bad. Shops were very reasonable. Staff were all very nice ☺

Good site right on the coast. Accommodation was clean and tidy. Staff are very friendly and helpful. WiFi is available but not very stable. Mobile reception is poor to nothing although this is obviously not in their control. Fantastic views. Good location for travelling the area as it is just off the A75
