Very nice pub. Friendly staff. And, they have Schiehallion on tap!

Truly a great bar and would give it a excellent review if I was Scottish. But this is Tripadvisor which is for tourist. Which from my experience they do not like, I would advise you take your business to an establishment that would appreciate you. I was belittle by the bar staff as if I were some local hayseed they we even saying Yeehaw to one another. Interesting, I enjoyed my pint and laughed along then left. Apparently growing up in a backwater ancient town and being a bartender is a great achievement, who knew. Anyhow there are a lot better places to spend your vacation time and money at in this town.

Warm, welcoming & dog friendly too! Steeped in Oban's martime heritage, the atmosphere is brimming with traditional seafaring character. I particularly enjoy the nautical decor and many photographs of Oban's sailors and ships of years gone by.

The food is excellent traditional Scottish fayre at very reasonable prices. Prize winning ales with an extensive range of internationally reknowned Scottish malts are served with a smile. The coffee is good too & is always served with a piece of delicious Scottish shortbread!

Oh, Aulays Bar & Restaurant offers a selection of games, TV, a public phone and free wifi too, for those of you wary of the local Highland's 2G signal!

Used this pub for years, never changes always good food and beer and Plesent staff.

Really good food, had a lovely steak pie. Everyone was really impressed. Good value.
