Ausa Dirty Weekenders

Dirty Weekenders is a volunteering student organisation at the University of Aberdeen. Our aim is to provide a platform of diverse and flexible volunteering opportunities to students from any discipline. We create links with local organisations who then inform us of any upcoming volunteering events where help is needed and we then pass this information on to our members. The key aim of our organisation is to ensure time-flexibility: members volunteer based on when they have time which greatly reduces the stress of balancing studies, part time jobs and any other extra curricular involvement. We have had an amazing year working with Friends of ANCHOR, JRDF, Befriend a Child, INSPIRE Venture, HalfPenny Animal Sanctuary, Aberdeen Central Library, the university Botanical Gardens and many more. We hope to continue strengthening our ties and establishing more partnerships with different organisations.
