Once upon a time there was a little girl in Yorkshire who wanted to be just like Madonna. She spent her childhood pretending to be famous in the back yard and counting buttons for her Nan. One day her father taught her to sew and since then, she has been fascinated with stitches, buttons and textures. She sacked off wanting to be Madonna (even though Madonna was quite good) and decided to become a seamstress instead. . .

She has since created a company called Autumn Attic, which is based in Cambridge, UK. Textiles, sewing and creating clothes comes automatically to her and Autumn is her favourite season. . . . Attics are usually where treasure and cool things are found. . . . which gives us the origin of the name.

You will find lots of handmade creations and customisations on the website and Pretty much everything that you see, can be custom ordered to your specification. The store is soon to expand, with the addition of other artists and designers work too, believing very strongly in supporting the creative amongst this human race.
