The Avenue Veterinary Surgery is a small animal practice in Redcar. Our surgery sits beside the beach in this small seaside town.

We pride ourselves in being a small friendly practice, which was opened on the present site by Clive Teare in 1988, and has been expanded during the years. In February 2005 the practice was sold to a company called CVS, where it has grown from strength to strength.


CVS is a large group; they successfully own many practices throughout the UK, the practices
in the group are run individually by a senior vet, this keeps the personal touch our clients are used to.

Our team of dedicated staff are here to help clients and pets, we offer appointments throughout the day to suit individual needs. Operations and surgical procedures are performed most days at the practice. Our nursing team can offer lots of free clinics to help with the well being of your pet, from puppy /kitten checks, worming & flea checks, dental clinics, weight clinics and many more, please phone and book an appointment.
