Aviemore Youth Hostel - Syha

Great place for groups and solo travelers. Friendly, helpful and resourceful staff. Clean, tidy and very well equipped premises. Great location. The common room and dining room are also great areas to meet fellow travellers and exchange experiences.

Loved my stay here, especially because of the nature reserve which backs on to it. Dorm rooms are basic but comfortable, good kitchen facilities, nice games room and you can buy a local beer at reception.

It was a nice accommodation with lovely views. Whilst the accommodation was very basic (as expected at a hostel), the staff and the town made the experience wonderful.

We couldn't ask for a more beautiful place to stay. Sinks in every room. Terrific staff -- friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Great and beautiful hiking trail right there behind the hostel. Stunning.

2AM CURFEW: We arrived and they sprung upon us a 2am curfew which we weren't aware of. There was no negotiation or discussion. Whilst we a managed to get back by 2am they had already closed which meant we had to ring the host

Cheap and comfy, lots of really useful amenities, very clean kitchen and the staff will help you in any way they can!

Great value, friendly staff butt the floor boards will drive you mad!

Friendly and helpful staff, good location, comfortable rooms. It's far from luxury accommodation, but it's good value for money.
