Very quiet here today the Brookie's are feeding well the. biggest being 3-1/4lb

my friend had a few c/r on the fly

and his son won the biggest fish out us all with a 5lb+ rainbow

and thats with all 4 of us getting a fish over 4lb

too many big fish ye can end up wae sore arms playing them all night never seen so many large browns got one 12 to 14ib last night unbelievable nick ther must be many anglers having caught ther personal bests up there .well worth a go

Took part in the Airdrie Supporters Trust fishing competition on this venue today . Staff were great and the resident fishermen were very helpful. Look forward to my next outing . Highly recommend to novice and expert alike

This is a great place to fish, staff and regulars are all friendly, fish fishy hard and are all very clean and in great condition. Recommend

It's a great fishery to fish friendly staff and very helpful but it's going to be even better as from Saturday when they open their new pool if you haven't tried it yet you should get your self out there its great

I've been fishing here under a year now but been one of if not the best most friendly fisherys I've been to thanks Stuart yer a top lad also just set up a wee part of the pond for the kids to fish in which I think is a great idea keep up the good work mate

Had a good day up there 11 fish between 4 of us 1 nice 5lb blue and a nice 5lb rainbow good day by all rod was In and out all day and a also lost a few big ones to so there we'll up for it.lol

Excellent fishery, one of my regular haunts. Cracking fish, excellent ponds, well maintained and friendly staff. Good facilities available. Food, toilets and plenty of fishing gear available on site.

Cracking fishirie with friendly hosts,a personally fish it often as a find it the most enjoyable for catch and release.

Cracking days fishing will defo be back landed a pb broonie of jst under 7lbs

By far the best fishery around .... tried plenty others but keep coming back here, good quality fish and a great bunch of lads �

Best day ever fishing today at Avon!

What can I say apart from wow how hard do those tiger trout fight! The small ones (5 pounders) take at least 10 mins to get to the surface never mind landing them.

I ended up with 12 fish and the smallest was 5lb, up to 9.5lb......

Had 9 tiger trout from 5 -9 lbs, 2 rainbows both 8lb each and a golden trout at 9.5lb.

Been 3 times always caught fish and seen many fish being landed good to see as AV been to many fisheries this tops the lot

Amazing place well kept and get a great fight from the fish fly only pond has some stoaters in it value for money.

Fished today in quite sunny weather. Four fish to the net (all perfectly finned). One lovely brownie about 6/7lbs. Big fish lost! Would recommend and return. Only downside for me was quite alot of weed .... Even with floating line fished all day and lots of used line lying around. That's just lazy anglers tho. Worth a visit and good value for money.
