Avondale Dental Practice

I have had excellent experience over the years using this practice both as an NHS and private patient. In the past year I have had extensive dental treatment carried out by Dr Liam McLaughlin who could not have been more thorough, patient and considerate throughout my whole treatment.
I am absolutely delighted with the results. Everyone in the practice including the Receptionists and Dental nurses always give exceptional service. All my family attend this practice and all are happy with the service and treatment they receive, I would have no hesitation in recommending this practice to anyone.

I first visited this practice due to the fact that they were an Invisalign approved practice. I had my initial consultation with Liam McLaughlin who guided me through my different options to achieve the perfect smile i've always wanted. After opting for the full Invisalign package, my impressions and x ray were all taken very quickly (the practice were very accommodating with my appointments during my lunch hour) and i was able to begin my treatment within a matter of weeks. I am now almost finished my Invisalign treatment and about to start the whitening process and so far i can only sing the praises of Liam and the rest of the staff at the practice.

Excellent treatment and friendly, efficient service! Recently I received implant treatment from Liam McLaughlin at the practice. From start to finish, my treatment was extremely professional and Liam really made me feel at ease and part of the decision-making process. I couldn't be more pleased with the end result and how the new tooth settled immediately within my mouth. Liam has also fitted me for a teeth whitening kit and I am really happy with the results.
Overall I would recommend anyone to under-take treatment with Avondale Dental Practice. My family and I have also received excellent treatment from Dentist Mairi Maclean and Hygienist Jolene Pinder, during our 5 years with the practice. Very professional and cheery practice to visit. I had 6 month smiles to straighten out some teeth by Mr McLaughlin and was very impressed with the results and his attention to detail. I was also particularly impressed with their X-Ray facilities which can could take my whole mouth in 1 shot.

Excellent Dentist, Botox for migraines! Life changing!

I have been getting migraines now for about 15 years.(At least once a week, sometimes more than that) I have been to the doctor now on numerous occasions and have taken every type of tablet I can get.

I saw Dr Mairi Maclean for my check-up 6 months ago and she could see that I grind my teeth. I said I do this at night when I'm sleeping and think it's due to stress. Mairi asked me if I had ever tried Botox before to relax the muscle and stop the headaches.

I didn't know you could even get Botox to help them!!

It was getting to the point where my migraines were taking over my life so I jumped at the chance, I was willing to try anything. The Botox kicked in About 4 - 5 weeks after I had it done and I didn't get another headache for 5 months,
I went back for my 6 month check-up and got it done again.

This is amazing to me as I can now go about my every day life and not have to think about missing out on anything due to my migraines.

Absolutely amazing service from this dentist as always! The whole team are lovely. My whole family go from west end to East Kilbride to get Dr Mairi Black to do our teeth- she's amazing !

I had been all over Glasgow for cosmetic consultations before I came here. My decision was made instantly. So much that I registered as a patient and left my old dentist. I can't remember ever not having issues with my teeth and everything was sorted before I could start my cosmetic work. From my root treatment to my veneers, the service has been first class and excellent value for money. Would recommend to anyone.

I have been going to the practice since 2003. I have had a lot of work done,Crowns and fix Bridges. Mairi Maclean is very good and keeps up to date with the latest technology. The team are very friendly and caring.
Jolene Pinder the Hygienist is also very good. I would recommend 3 or 4 visits a year.
Prevention and good dental hygene is a good idea.
