Excellent site, very close to the town where there plenty of choices for food and drink.
The site was relatively flat and the shower/toiletblock was old but perfectly functional. The wardens were friendly. The area was noisy in the evenings as it is close to the University and the town of Ayr is closeby and I can only think of this as a reason. The evening also brought with it fast drivers on site as there were no speed bumps as a deterrent and even some of the caravanners decided to pretend they were the next "Hamilton"
Absolutely love this site and the wardens who come to watch over the site to make sure we all have a great time whilst there. Ayr council should keep it there as it helps to bring business into Ayr so much so that my husband and I always make sure we buy whilst there to help the town's economy. Highly recommend this site
Clean and tidy. Lovely walks along the river and into the town. Nothing not to love.
Love the site, it's our second home. Wardens are fantastic and the location is perfect. If we could site our caravan here we would in a heartbeat. It's a shame South Ayrshire Council want the land back. This will be a major blow to the regulars who enjoy this site and even more so to the local economy that will be missing out on the extra income that we bring.
It was central for walking into the town centre. Pleasant staff and all amenities lovely and clean.

This is a lovely site staff are very friendly and helpful facilities are good and within walking distance of Ayr we have stayed here a number of times and will be back
This small and peaceful campsite is set in the picturesque town of Ayr. Located beside the university which has beautiful walks it is full of beautiful gardens. Ayr has a wonderful beach and playpark which is within a 20 minute walking distance. The campsite its self does not accommodate tents but it takes caravans and motorhomes. They welcome families and dogs. With friendly staff and lovely facilities it is a lovely site to visit. It has a wee park and all the usual amenities are located close to the pitches. It's well worth a visit.
