Balado Airfield Description
Balado Airfield is probably Scotland's best sport aviation location. We have access to 70 acres of space which contain 4 runways, hangarage, control tower viewing platform and lounge /catering accommodation for visiting pilots and voucher flight customers.
We have both fixed wing and 3-axis mircolight aircraft based here as well as wing fold group A aircraft and SSDR class microlights.

My husband went up in a microlight for his 40th. ..first time being here and we loved it...the staff were very friendly especially Barbara who kindly put on a kids movie for my 2 year old son whilst daddy was away flying! Would recommend it to anyone..we will certainly be returning ��� x
Lovely afternoon watching Mum having her wee flight. She thoroughly enjoyed it and was buzzing for hours afterwards! Staff very friendly and informative. Would highly recommend �
Love coming here, it's a 120 mile round trip for me and I wouldn't go anywhere else, Keith and Barbara are really welcoming and friendly, the rest of the members are all top guys/girls too. And you'll never go hungry....the homemade soup is the best!

Had a cracking microlight flight today! If you like being up in the clouds, while having plenty of time to take in your surroundings, you’d love it! All people on sight were were a good laugh! Highly recommended �
