Located in a quiet residential area on the south side of Hawick, the hotel provides a luxurious, tranquil retreat to explore the beautiful Scottish Borders

Opened in December 2016 following extensive renovation and refurbishment the Balcary House Hotel was formerly a Barnardos Home for children and was originally built as a villa for a local mill owner. Set in extensive private grounds, today the hotel is a luxurious country style retreat and an ideal base for exploring the Borders. The hotel is also perfectly suited for hosting weddings, business meetings and functions.
