I learned to knit at school in Shetland but only really got back into it five or six years ago. I really enjoy the rhythm of knitting, it's very calming and therapeutic.

I recently got into making jewellery too, which is brilliant fun (and probably great for my friends and family too, there's only so many hats or tea cosies a person really needs! ).

I am currently trying to learn to use the sewing machine too, so hopefully I'll have some Sewn Bits to add to the site soon.

I'm more than happy to take commissions on anything you see on the website or in my Folksy and Etsy shops. If there's something you see that you like but would prefer in a different colour or style just let me know and I can make it up for you.
