Home of the Black Watch, a beautiful location and very interesting and educational experience, worth paying for the guided tour and talk.
What a lovely museum with some very poignant artefacts and displays
This is difficult, if you like regimental museums it's probably a five, if you like the black watch it's a five. Cafe is great, shop has some good black watch themed items.
It was a great place to visit. Throughly recommend it.
Very good day out for a family, great value with the family ticket booked online. Fantastic part of Scottish history.
Very enjoyable way to spend a day....excellent guide and exhibits...loada of history....good food too...
I did not dislike this place in any way
.How could I like or dislike a place when I haven't even been there
What an amazing Museum and grounds.
The trip yesterday was extra special because it had the Poppies Weeping Window on display well worth the visit very moving but hurry as it is only on display until the 25th September. Make sure to take note of the hundreds of wooden crosses behind the memorial stone as you are leaving and ask the guides who were all very helpful to tell you the story behind them. While away a few hours at the museum then spend a few hours looking around Perth a beautiful city on a lovely river and have applied for UK City of Culture 2021
Great cafe close to the park. Always seems to be immaculate and very well staffed. Top quality tea and cakes.
Whilst the museum could be interesting, it's not made clear that most of it is a paid exhibit until *after* your clear of the donation counter. Donations in good faith are all fine and well, but because of the way they're presented, they felt deceptive here. Borderline bait-and-switch.
The signage could also do with serious improvement, with members of staff seeming harassed with the amount of people who were lost. This was early on a Sunday morning, I can only imagine other days and times would be worse.
