Balintore Inn

Food was awful- meat was cold inside ( We assumed it was from a microwave). Do not recommend eating there. Good for drinks- amazing location.

Stayed there for 4 days, had a view of the firth which allowed me to spot dolphins following the fishing boats while having a snack at my window. Huge room, big bathroom and great food. The staff were charming and friendly too, very beautiful place to stay. Would absolutely love to stay there again.

Stayed here for two nights and couldn't have had a more welcoming and comfortable stay. Full cooked breakfast each morning was delicious and special mention to our lovely host/ server Lesley who chatted to us at breakfast and provided a warm welcome. The rooms were spacious, tidy and came with everything you would need. The bathroom was also spacious and well-equipped with plenty of towels as well as shower gel and shampoo provided. A small negative was the shower pressure being quite low, but that didn't prevent us form enjoying our stay. Will definitely come back! :)

We arrived after they'd finished serving food but they happily agreed to feed us anyway. Food was plain and simple, but of great quality and of good portions - and exactly what we needed. We would happily eat here every day, such as the quality of the food and the attitudes of the staff. Thank you!

Great pub/restaurant in the highlands, we stopped on the car par k in our camper whilst touring the NC 500. Fabulous views of the Lock.
Very welcoming staff with friendly outlook, always looking to help. Food looked really nice and reasonably priced although we didn't eat. Fair range of beers and ciders, I wouldn't expect a greater selection as possibly it would not be cost effective. Beer garden to the side with tables and play area.

Good food good place made very welcome

We live near by and eat there frequently. The food is consistently excellent. However, the wonderful and friendly staff are what really keeps us coming back.

Dropped in on the off chance after the coastal walk on Wednesday (13/4/16).
Friendly welcome, great setting and views.
Had the pork /chorizo burger and the fish pie. They were both fab and struggled to finish the portions. Very reasonably priced.
Highly recommend.
