Balkenna Tea Rooms

Been here a few times, apart from the brilliant location we have always had a good experience. Food is perfectly adequate and the waitress staff at least have always been good.

Such a beautiful location. The view from our table was wonderful. The food and service was brilliant. It was worth the journey from Glasgow. We will definitely be back.

Nice place for a quick pit stop but nothing overly special and looking quite dated. Needs a good freshen up.

Called in for a break and had an "All Day Breakfast" which was excellent. The tea room has a great view over to Ailsa Craig so a very handy stop for photographers there is seating available outside too.. I have no hesitation recommending the Balkenny Tea Rooms

One the one hand, a nice cafe with nice food, but it is at the front of a shop which has another eating area at the rear. One member of staff dealing with both outlets; waited ages at the unattended cafe for service. Staff member very pleasant and apologetic.
