Meet Brian Brian Gray , Brian is our Mr Fix it! He has built every chair we have and maintained them. Brian is also the Health and Safety advisor and has developed the training manual that we all work to. If we need something doing....we call Brian!

Miss you Easter Bunny!

We are going to make the most of this time Introducing you to our volunteers.
This week we will start with Joni Corbett who has been with us since we started in 2017. Joni set up the fundraising page for our first Hippocampe chair and is the talented artist behind the mural on the wall of the bunker. Joni also has raised a lot of money by holding an evening of wine and painting at the Sand Bothy as well as being there on hand with the chairs.
... During all this time in ‘lockdown’ Joni has been busy using her living room window to entertain with her art work!

Belhelvie Community Trust, which runs Balmedie Beach Wheelchairs, has taken the decision to postpone our reopening until further notice. We need to protect our visitors, their carers and families and also our volunteers without whom there would be no project, and reduce the risk of spreading the virus. We will let you know when things change. In the meantime we will look after the chairs, and the access to the beach, and hope to see you as soon as possible.
