Best pub in the world! 5 stars not enough!!

A nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Nice starter and dessert but terrible main. Just tried to eat lasagne that was overcooked. I had a little bit in the centre but couldn't eat the edges. Told waitress why I'd left what I had, she said she'd tell the chef. No communication back, nothing deducted from bill. I'm not a complainer but expect some apology in the way of even the drinks deducted. Disappointing.

Great pub and restaurant, no defined age group so great for all ages and classes. Good wholesome food at reasonable prices. Good music when on. Look out for beer festivals as there a busy but great time here.

The Bandstand holds a beer fest every year with a selection of about a hundred different real ales and a few ciders thrown in for good measure. If you like real ales then make sure you visit when the beer feast is on. The staff are friendly and the food is good and reasonably priced.

We googled gluten free restaurants in Nairn and my son who is fussy and coeliac liked the look of their menu best. Service was great, food delicious and friendly staff. My son loved his chicken and mash (not on the menu but it was no problem for them to make it for him). There were lots of gf options and my son especially enjoyed the gf choc fudge cake. All 4 of us (including 2 teenagers) would recommned a visit here. Views from restaurant also great.

Food food too

Fantastic casual pub. Also had a more formal restaurant which we walked through but didn't experience. 150+ whiskies plus around ten drafts. Several cask conditioned ales. Good service.

Bit like a cold Hunstanton
