About Banff Playgroup & Toddlers
We're a non profit group run by a volunteer committee. At present we run 3 fantastic groups, Playgroup, 2's group and toddlers group.
Banff Playgroup & Toddlers Description
We run a local playgroup and two's group in Banff. We are not-for-profit charitable organisation with a committee of dedicated volunteers who fundraise to ensure this vital service continues providing a fantastic and varied learning experience for our children.
Playgroup is a pre-school group run by our team of qualified staff for children from 2 1 /2 up to 4 years old. Playgroup encourages their independence giving them the opportunity to get involved in great fun activities and learn new skills before entering the more formal education system. We can offer government funded commissioned places the term following a child's 3rd Birthday.
2's group is held on a Monday and Thursday afternoon, also run by our staff with support from parents, this is aimed specifically at children 2 - 2 1 /2 years, the session lasts for 1 1 /2 hours which we find is long enough for this age of children as often this is the first time they are away from their parents. Its a great introduction to the playgroup environment, breaking them in gently to time away from parents and carers.
Our Parent and Toddler Group is held on Tuesdays at 1. 00pm upstairs in the Playgroup room at the Deveron Community and Sports Centre.

A reminder we’re holding our open day on Monday! From 12-3 we’ll be in the playgroup room, we hope to see current and new parents to show what 2s and playgroup is all about!
