Bad service slow and not helpful staff stood around with tablets chatting doing nothing while 2 tills empty. Got to be worst bank in edingburgh easily

We opened 3 accounts with this Bank of Scotland branch on a Saturday and the whole process was excellent. The staff member greeting us at the door was very helpful and the banker who helped us set up our accounts was brilliant - so friendly, efficient and willing to help. We had just relocated to Edinburgh from Australia so the whole process was very new to us but this branch made it a breeze.

It's a city centre bank is more than normal that there is a waiting longer than the other, I don't personally understand the previous comments, I've been here few times for appointments or not and they were more than welcoming and helpful, plus I've seen the Branch Manager doing basics duties and that remarkable instead of sitting in the upstairs office!

Incompetent staff, rude and arrogant!!

Would give it zero stars if that was possible. The longest I've ever waited at a bank. They had staff just walking about asking what you needed doing sweet FA
