Bankell Farm Campsite (Permanently Closed)

Nothing fancy here, basic toilet, washing room with shower, fresh water and somewhere to wash utensils. That being said if your looking for some where quiet and/or as a over nighter then this is ideal. Planes can be loud going overhead but it's not like that's constant

Very good and well kept campsite. It's situated just outside Glasgow and really easy to travel back and forth to.My wife ,sister her partner and myself stayed here for the Biffy Clyro gig and it was perfect. Will definitely be back to stay here for future gigs or visits to Glasgow. On site shower , toilets and wash area so really handy.

Small, quiet, tidy. Note that this is basically just a few pitches behind a commercial farm with a small toilet and shower block with no additional campground services and facilities, but it is extremely clean and very convenient to the city. Perfect stopover for touring.

Lovely site clean n tidy close to everything you need and very peaceful

A lovely site, friendly and helpful, less than half hour's drive from Glasgow centre and perfect for visiting the surrounding area - only a short walk to the lake and country park, ideal for cycling too. Facilities are well kept and exceptionally clean. Beautiful views of the country side (I especially loved seeing the lights of Glasgow at night on one side of the farm road, in contrast to the darkness of surrounding countryside). The Virgin Active gym is only half a mile's walk, and we couldn't have wished for a warmer welcome.
