Bannatyne Health Club

Getting fed-up with jacuzzi being out of order for cleaning during the times I visit the gym. Should be emptied, cleaned and refilled at the end of the day, not in the morning. Not fair on those members paying their fees to use this facility and on a regular basis not being able to.

Staff are superb. Clientele are awful.
Bannantynes used to be a great gym from 2013 to 2015. It was busy at times, but not excessively so and the people that went there were fine.
Unfortunately in 2016, a mass exodus from Gym 64 for some reason lowered the tone and my enjoyment of Bannantynes in huge way.
It was unpleasantly busy pretty much all the time, especially in the free weight section. And some of the new members would definitely qualify as being a bit unpleasant too. Think Geordie Shore meets Grado. Not great!
On the other side of the coin, I can't say enough about the staff, nearly all of them were pleasant, polite and really helpful, I can't praise them enough and they are a credit to Bannantynes.
Hopefully Bannantynes does get back to it's best once the Gaz Beadle wannabe's decide to infest another gym with their luminous tank-tops, backwards baseball caps and baby oil. But until then, I'll be staying clear.

Amazing staff in here I go there 2 times a week to do karate and the instructor is amazing

Family room showers broken whilst use! They said it was going to take 20 minutes to fix it! A bit of a shame really!

Great gym facilities
