The Gym is very well equipped with a wide choice of instruments of torture....lol
Changing rooms could do with more private cubicles for the shy ones
Cafè not great. Only once had lunch there and we had to wait ages for rubbery totally tasteless eggs. Yesterday they had nothing we wanted as they were in the middle of ...changing the menu. You would think they would have had the food for the new winter menu available. The cappuccino is just out of a machine and very bland. It is a pity the cafè is so poor as the combination of an excellent gym with an equally excellent cafè wouod have made it a fantastic experience.

I have been training with Hakan okus since February of this year and i am feeling and looking great, if i say so myself!! With Hakans knowledge of food and exercise plus guidance towards my goal, all I can say which i thought I would never say, is that i now enjoy going to the gym. Thank you hakan giving me the knowledge and training, long may it last 😉

First time visiting Bannatynes yesterday on the 2nd September. My initial impression was made by the receptionist who berated us for not arriving half an hour earlier. I explained that I had been told by a member of staff to arrive 10 mins earlier than our appointment but she continued to tell us we had missed our tour of faciliities and should go straight up to our appointment. Her manner was hostile and my friend and I felt quite shocked at the welcome we were given. Especially as it was our first visit.
The treatmemts were nice and then we went back to reception to hire dressing gowns and towels.
Same receptionist who then told us we had to pay for the use of spa and swimming pool as well as pay for our spa bag. She asked for £30 more. When I explained I was sure our voucher included use of facilities she told me very angrily that no that was not included and that we had to pay. I tried to explain again but she thrust a leaflet in my face which excluded free use of spa and pool. Her manner was again aggressive and at this point I was doubting myself. At this point my friend and I actually considered leaving. The way we were treated and the level of hostility made us both feel upset and shocked.
Fortunately another member of staff was passing and at this point the receptionist was with another customer. When she checked the booking she discovered we were entitled to free spa and afternoon tea. The first receptionist excused herself by saying it had been busy when we had arrived and it had been a mix up. Other than that the afternoon tea was nice but the scone was hard and more like a rock bun. Not great.

I would appreciate an apology for the hostile service and perhaps staff training focusing on customer service may help in the future. Maybe the receptionist was having a bad day and needs a hug. God bless her but I hope noone else experiences such a poor level of courtesy and kindness. We were put off returning and would not recommend to others.

I have been several times this last year as a visitor, ie not a member for a 90 minute yoga class, all good however i went last night to be told the price is now £15 and i had to sign in via their computer system which asked me for name, address, email, date of birth etc, when i asked why i was told i may "be a mad crazy rapist" and they needed to take a digital photo of me too. I arrived 30 minutes early and the check in procedure took 20 minutes as it kept freezing. I won't be back, shame because it is a really good yoga class.

Booked an afternoon tea spa experience with a friend, with the assistance of the very friendly staff! Package included massage, facial and afternoon tea for two. This is something we have both done often and we were both agreed that the massage was the best one we have ever had. The afternoon tea followed by a laze in the pool area made it just perfect. Highly recommended!

Very friendly staff lots to do.

Great facilities and free weights. Shame it costs 12 quid a day as a non member. Over a barrel for occasional visitors to the local area.

Staff are great, but dodgy WiFi in gym, broken Jacuzzis, low pressure water machine in swimming pool, expensive visitor sign in prices let it down
