Yet another great meal at Barca. We had an itison voucher for 5 tapas dishes and there was a great selection. Have always found that the portion sizes are no different if you have a discount voucher. Enjoyed our lunch and will certainly use again �

Was very disappointed with our service in barca on Friday the 1st of June. Stood for quite a while and had a member of staff just looked at us when we were clearly waiting to be seated. Initially the service was fine when taking our order. But the food came before the drinks, and when we went inside to enquire, the gentlemen's response was quite rude and abrupt. The lady who then brought the drinks also seemed quite miffed and the whole situation became pretty uncomfortable. No one checked in on us then after. And we had to go back inside twice, one to ask for the bill then again to actually pay. The card machine also didn't work, and our bank was blaimed by the staff, yet worked everywhere else for the rest of the day.



I felt pretty disheartened and as I have ate here plenty of times before and always recommend to others. And the lady who brought us our drinks has always been so friendly and fun. So I honestly can't understand what happened on Friday. It certainly wasn't the norm from this restaurant.

The service was much to be desired compared to other restaurants in Glasgow. They brought the food “as it was prepared” so basically you didn’t get all the food you had ordered at the same time. Even though I pointed out that i would prefer to have all my food served together I was told that was not possible. The restaurant was about 30% full, and the staff were walking about like farts in a trance so dread to think what the service would be like in a full restaurant. Won’t be back. Modern restaurant trying to be authentic with young inexperienced staff and it simply doesn’t work.

Came here for a birthday lunch treat on Sunday, 19th November, hadn't made a reservation but there was plenty of vacant tables, asked for a table on the balcony for 3 people but was told that we had to make a reservation for the balcony but we could have a table inside which is fair enough considering it was the weekend. However was very disappointed that within earshot of us, the Manager who had seated us, told the next 2 parties of 3 people who arrived wanting seats on the balcony that she could "shift things around to accommodate them". Food was lovely, service was poor but will not return due to this.

Apparently they were busy with large table. Gave us bread and Olives until food came. First time I have had the blanco sangria. Must,have run low on fruit as all it contained was 2 raspberries, 2 blueberries, a slice of lemon and a slice of lime. At £18 will give it a miss next time. Disappointed today but,as this was the first time I have been let down, will probably return.
