Wow what a fab place, it is on the small side but very cosy and homely. ...we had a lovely steak meal that you cook on the stone and my son had the Scotland burger....wow was his words!!! It was lovely#familytime# defo be back again soon. Staff was amazing as well so warm & friendly ...thanks again xx

What a great venue! We were looking for a venue for our wedding reception and a friend of ours suggested the Brig Below. We could not put into words on how helpful and friendly each member of staff there was. They had helped, assisted and responded quickly via email with any queries or concerns we had.



The reception itself was amazing! Just an amazing atmosphere and friendly, personalised evening. Any help we needed, they were always on hand.



I thoroughly recommend this place to anyone wishing for a private event or function.

Went to a wedding reception there and had the best fun. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. Everyone had a blast. Would defo hire for a function.

Was there on Saturday with friends arrived to find there was no entertainment planed . I told Donna we were disappointed and she said give me a minute , made a phane call and about 50 minutes later Sean arrived and put on a great show . The steaks were great and the staff were brilliant we had a great night

This bar was recommended to us. It was very nice, friendly young staff and the steak fajitas were lovely. Didn't stay for the entertainment as we had a very long journey. Sure it was great

The steak was amazing. The staff were brilliant and the entertainment was excellent. Loved the Toblerone cocktails too. Would recommend this place and would definitely go back. Sx

So glad I came across this bar in my first night in Edinburgh. The atmosphere and people here were just what I needed on what turned out to be a very emotional night. Thank you for the great beer, food, music and being so welcoming to a lone traveler walking the streets with purple hair. :-)

Really nice bar which is laid out perfectly for a catch up with friends. Staff really nice and friendly; some nice live music as well.

Nice place to be, not too big so it gives a nice atmosphere. Staff is super friendly, they also offer food, be sure to try the burgers! Excellent stuff, would recommend bar brig anytime

I had my wedding reception here (brig below) on July 6th and it was perfect! The staff were amazing support, put up all of our decorations and had a great laugh with our guests!! Best night ever xxx

Great wee find near the bottom of Leith walk. Amazing service, food and ambience. I can highly recommend the cajun chicken burger!!! Delicious!!!! We will definitely be back!!!

Gem of a pub with absolutely wonderful staff and a great selection of food and drink. I try to go here often and the chilled, stylish and relaxing environment is accompanied throughout the week by excellent live entertainment. Must try is the steak on a hot plate deal.

First time there we only had a few drinks but defo going back for a meal my sister been there a few times for a meal she said its lovely and what I seen last night food looked amazing �

First time in this lovely bar last night for steak & chips. The staff were lovely and attentive and the food was great. We were lucky to also go on a night when a great male singer was on.

Fantastic venue for live music and comedy. Decent bar prices, lovely food and excellent service make this bar stand out. Would highly recommend it.

Don’t be put off by the odd looking neon signage outside, this is a real gem of a bar. Friendly welcoming staff, delicious food (amazing Nachos !!) and great choice of drinks. They have music on nightly and are soon opening up the basement for local bands to perform in. Top place, I’ll certainly be back.

Best burger I've ever had staff are brill and the cocktails super yummy if your ever in leith this place is a must cannot sing it's praises enough

Been a regular visitor to Bar Brig over the last year or two and always had an enjoyable night. The staff are always friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. Visited tonight and was most impressed by the food ( steak fajitas) and entertainment delivered by the very talented Craig Lithgow. Definitely recommend a night at the Brig !!!
