Went for a few drinks after work. We sat inside as only able to sit outside if eating. Later on a young waitress came over to where I was sitting and offered us a seat outside as they had stopped serving food. She was so helpful and friendly. I will definitely be back.

Visited this place a few times with Family. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Food is excellent! Very fast service too. Definitely recommend this place to anyone

Saturday night out with the girls was amazing and the bar staff ensured we were kept happy with cocktails flowing all night and nibbles to share to keep us going! Thanks guys

Me and my partner were in having a meal and some drinks after some shopping! Cannot recommend this place anymore! Fantastic service from the barstaff! One girl i particular didnt get her name but she had a sore throat. She couldnt have done anymore for us outstanding customer service! Will definetly be back xx

I have had meals on many occasions, either with friends or family and never dissapointed with the food or the staff.on this occasion sat morning about 10 we went in for breakfast, lovely crispy rolls,in sausage ,bacon and fried egg,plus big cup of tea, right choice delish,the blode girl that served us was so pleasant .

Had a few drinks with friends lovely bar, friendly genuine staff. Don't know why I haven't been before �Will definitely come back to have food as it looked and smelled delicious, think this might be our new regular haunt. Thanks for fantastic service!

Great venue for a catch up with friends. Loads of choice, tasty food and drink. Very nice, helpful and friendly staff. A lovely twinkly setting under the fairy lights and great to see local craft stalls too! 5 stars

Been a few times now and every time the food and service have both been exceptional. Prices offer excellent value for money too. Oh and of course people watching in the square is great fun too.

have eaten here quite a few times and will be back enjoyed food and times it took giving time to chat and catch up and never feeling rushed off the table

We were hear for a hen night, one barmaid was very rude after giving the wrong drink and shouted at one of the girl I was with about it. Spoke to the manager and she was lovely and apologised, she was very helpful as well and made sure, we were ok. The bouncer was also great and helped us get a table big enough for us all.

Staff very pleasant and great atmoshere but food disappointing.. Mac n cheese tepid at best, blunt knifes for steak and items missed from our order....missing items delivered after meals finished then replaced with a free drink but would have preferred the full meal as ordered

Service was good and front of house staff really friendly but food disappointing!

Fish and chips - fish dripping in grease and steak pie is NOT stew with a lump of seperately poorly cooked cheap puff pastry dumped on top

My wife and I were in yesterday to meet with two Good friends up from London for the weekend and we were having a great afternoon until a barman a new barman (superviser maybe young guy with a beard definitely not a barman) served us 2 whiskys and lemonade he filled the tall glasses up to the top with lemonade completely drowning the whisky when I pointed this out to him he snapped "I'm not a mind reader neither was he a barman, No offer to change them quite simply take what your given and like it and at nearly a Fiver a drink I thought this was very poor. I then asked for another round and was told we were getting no more as our attitude was bad and" we aren't that type of pub" to say we were treated like shit was an understatement they were happy to serve us all afternoon and when we pointed out a mistake we were thrown out, I have to say the rest of the staff were great just this one idiot who looked right down his nose at us ruined our afternoon, this guys need to be taught how to serve a drink or if he doesn't know then he should have asked how we take the drink.

I am sorry to say that myself, and two others had a meal yesterday afternoon and was thouroughly dissapointed.



I had a haggis and burger meal, the burger element felt and tasted like square sausage. A dense 'burger' it tasted more of biscuit meat like a cheap square sausage.



The others were equally unimpressed and the only saving grace was the shared platter, with few items for £18, or so, a dish of mostly doritos with jalapenos n cheese, the highlight of the meal. £75 wasted!



Very dissapointed!

Food was OK ,one member of staff was nt very helpful we had our meal then a went to the bar for another drink and a was told my the staff member I mentioned earlier that we were closing for a wee while cause it had been busy and they had no clean glasses ,shocking customer service won't be back

Been in this place several times and always found the food and service good. Was in last night and not impressed at all , food was ok and the two really young members of waiting staff were very nice but the dark haired waitress was very abrupt and down right rude !!! She argued when we said we'd ordered starters that did not appear and was generally just rude ! We ate our food and left. Normally we would spend the whole night here but she definitely put us off

One of the saddest old fashioned's I've ever had in my life. A pile of undissolved sugar lay at the bottom and each sip felt like I was eating raw sugar and watered down whiskey. Instead of just a little orange peel I had 4 slices of orange in it too.... 4!!!! The glass came quite dirty looking with next to no ice in it, so glass was less than half full. I'd have complained but the staff took about 40 mins to even bring my drink in the first place and I just wanted to get out of there and never go back.

Extremely unhelpful staff, and worse management, rude and very unhelpful. The staff look as though theyre losing the will to live. Manager was so cheeky to our group and shame as we went next door were the staff were absolutely lovely and run up a huge bill.

Booked a table of 15 for our friends hen do last night, one friend being told on the door she was too drunk to get in and refused entry. Said friend was sober and on a night out during her treatment from being ill. The manners of the staff in question was beyond atrocious and while everyone understands they are doing a job,there is a way of speaking to people. This ruined an other wise happy night for her as she was embarrassed and upset. Thankfully upon going down the street to Blackfriars they were able to see that she was indeed sober and this allowed us to continue with our evening. Very poor indeed.
