really friendly staff x food amazing and hot x table service for drink x owner should feel proud off the staff x keep up the great work ppl x

We go here from time to time during weeknights as itŌĆÖs not too busy. The pub food is always really nice and the service very pleasant and quick. Food stops around 19:30 during the week so you need to be in early! They have a good range of cocktails and they are served up really nice. Prices are also good for food and drinks. ItŌĆÖs a bit lively towards the end of the week and weekends.

Was in yesterday with my wife and had a great time , friendly staff and customers , we had a wee session with two of the locals Davie and Shug I think they were called , will definitely call again ­¤Ź║­¤æÅ­¤æŹ

Was in last night for my birthday celebrations dinner and lady gaga tribute night food beautiful and top class staff so nice and helpful and friendly x

Popped in yesterday for a pub lunch with family who stay in the area and I thought the food, service was brilliant..



I stay in Livingston and this quality of food would do a roaring trade!

I went to Bar West last night with friends.Although I've been there lots of times (Tassie back in the day) it was only the second time I'd eaten there.The food was great and piping hot.The service was both speedy and friendly.We all enjoyed what we had and will definitely return.The cocktails were yummy too! .

Had food and drinks yesterday in here the food was amazing hats off to the chef ­¤æ©ŌĆŹ­¤Ź│ ŌØż’ĖÅand the bar staff couldn't do enough for us ­¤æÅ­¤Å╗­¤Öī­¤Å╝

Had an amazing meal with friends. Can't recommend this place highly enough. So much so we are organising our Christmas night out here ’┐Į

Had a lovely lunch in here yesterday . We both had the chicken curry which was delicious. I would definitely recommend Bar West to my friends . Ideal pub to go to before the football

Great night all round. Young girl serving demonstrated good customer service from the moment we arrived, and remained attentive through our meal. menu had a great selection and of good Value for money. The bar always has a great atmosphere.x

Food was absolutely gorgeous so good we have booked for next week too

Been in few time now for food every time been in food has been great . The staff are so nice happy to help you if they can would definitely recommend this place

Really enjoyed our lunch. The waitress was very nice and attentive. Food was good, nice place to go into

Was in yesterday. Food was brilliant but a little confused that the barman said "come back in 30 mins to order". Stupid if you ask me, just put our name on a list and we would be happy to wait but to ask us to go back up in 30 mins and order is stupid.

It's a nice wee boozer and the food was good but how it won pub of the year I'll never know.

Was in last night for a friends birthday bar staff lovely, but disappointed that there is no none alcoloholic options like kopperberg. I was designated driver and got a bit fed up of pints of Diet Coke especially at ┬Ż2.49 a glass. Meals all lovely though!

Food is good, only problem i had in the bar was that the food took Aaaaaaaages to arrive we arrived hungry but by the time the food arrived id almost started eating the furniture. Dont get me wrong food was good but if its gonna take a while ie 1hr+ to cook they could have warned us ’┐Į we even contemplated phoning in a pizza while we waited ’┐Į

I was there on Friday 30th December with my friend in which we were told that we couldn't get in as was at capacity. The bouncer was very cheeky about this and after about 5 people left he still wouldn't let us in. He also was very ignorant and and made comments. I understand about the capacity and it's his job but his attitude was terrible.

Bit of a shame this evening as from window karaoke looked good but not too busy .. but as a new regular got turned away from the wee security guy on the door, it's a first, Defos not happy.

We tried to get in last night around 9pm. The doorman was so rude to us. He told us there was 5 people too many in the bar so we had to wait for 5 to come out! Fair enough....we waited until 5 came out but he was arrogant in telling us we couldn't get in as they were just going home to get their coats and would be back!

Who is losing money here BAR WEST??? We could have been buying drinks while the doorman was waiting for these people to return hours later!

We are mature women out to have a nice night out and were disgusted with the treatment from your "doorman".
