Kilmarnock Barassie Golf Club is located on the outskirts of Troon on Scotland's West Coast.
We have an extensive history and have been offering golfers a magnificent links golf challenge in Ayrshire since 1887. The Club is always delighted to welcome visitors from all over Europe, the United States as well as all corners of the UK and Ireland.
Within striking distance of Royal Troon, Prestwick and Turnberry, the course is an Open Championship Final Qualifying venue with a well-deserved reputation for some of the best maintained greens in Scotland. The Club has twenty seven holes with which to test the golfer, complemented by first-rate facilities in the clubhouse and professional's shop. Kilmarnock (Barassie) Golf Club offers everything golfers would expect from a Scottish seaside golf course; challenging fairways and greens as well as a friendly, welcoming membership.

Huge congratulations to the Barassie Links Juniors who won the Scottish Junior Team Golf final at Carnoustie yesterday and win through to the home nations final in Portugal at the end of January. Yesterday's play was filmed for Sky Sports and included interviews with the Captain, Convenor, youngest playing member and the winning team. This will be shown as a one off programme next year following the final.
Well done to Aidan Tasker who also won the handicap prize with a net 6...3.

The course is in great condition considering the very poor weather we have endured - greens a very good - a couple good dry windy days will improve things dramatically- the course should be excellent come opening season - well worth a visit �

Played the course for the 1st time yesterday in the gents open and I will definitely be back. The experience was amazing from the moment we walked in to register - to the pro shop - the welcome on the first tee - the course itself was in unbelievable condition - to returning our cards - to having a drink and food afterwards it was all perfect and couldn't fault the whole set-up in any way. Now added Barassie links into my away opens for the future and can't wait to go back again.
One of the best courses I've ever hacked my way around. Excellent facilities and playable all year. Easily a 5* course.

Just played my first round with the Links Cup Ayrshire. The course was a fantastic experience. Will be back next time with Links Cup Ayrshire!
