I think its safe to say our guests last night were well fed and had a blast! Thank you to James and the girls for coming along to pipe for us and to John at Columba's Bay Catering (Columba's Bay Diner) for cooking an amazing meal, not a single plate came back with food on it! Fantastic feedback all round, we're looking forward to bringing some more excitement to the Castle in the future! Exciting times ahead! ‚ù§

Wonderful setting and hospitality. With the genuine dungeon, spiral staircase (pack a light bag for this stay rather than a heavy suitcase), Great Hall and Parlour with roaring fires, two secret staircases for you to find and explore, antiques galore including some real four poster beds, turrets, lovely views and welcoming hosts, this Bed and Breakfast is a real treat. On the hosts' recommendation we also had a fantastic locally sourced meal at the @HawthornRestaurant a very short drive away.

What an amazing stay, beautiful room with everything you can imagine and more! Surroundings are magical and the Castle was spectacular with 5 star service and facilities. It really is true, you do fall in love with the place when you visit.

We stayed her in early October and were beyond thrilled with our stay. Every, single detail has been specially attended to. I want to go back again. Very private and unbelievably beautiful. Incredibly nice staff. The Hawthorn restaurant down the road 2 min is AMAZING!!!! Beautiful little place with the most delicious food and wine. We must come back again. I feel like we could have spent more time there exploring. It was so nice to relax in front of the big fire after a long day of sightseeing in the more touristy surrounding towns. Thank you again for an unforgettable experience

We have had possibly the best holiday ever at the castle. Attentive and friendly staff, fantastic food and the most comfortable night's sleep ever. Absolutely fantastic cannot recommend highly enough!!

Sadly only stayed 1 night but it was one of the best places we stayed during our visit to Ireland and Scotland (and we stayed in many places!). The owners and staff go out of their way to ensure everything is perfect and it was. Love the property and where it is located!

Our experience was everything we’d hoped for and more. The room was fantastic, the hidden passageways were cool, and the ‘drawing rooms’ in which you could share a wee dram were just perfect. We could not have felt any more welcome the second we hit the door. Thank you for a wonder stay!!!

Built in 1609, it offers an authentic Victorian castle experience complete with hidden passage ways and tales of ghost hauntings. The furnishings are amazing and the staff is first rate. Super fun and really much more than a B&B.
