Staff over phone are extremely rude. One liners. Do not answer questions properly or give any explanation. He hung up before we had even ended conversation. Absolutely ridiculous with a smarmy attitude.

The appointment system is god awful. I live half an hours walk from the surgery and instead of phoning and booking an appointment (like every other practice, ever) I have to walk all the way to the surgery just to book the appointment, then walk back to my house, just to walk back to the surgery again for the appointment. Completely pointless. Also the inability to book over the phone or online before 11 means that people who are occupied in the morning just can't get an appointment. Booking over the phone becomes available after 11, but without fail every time I've tried to do this, "Fully booked, try for a cancellation". It's a stupid system and the fact that this practice has a 2 star rating reflects that many people share this opinion.

The doctors are usually very good and you can always book an appointment for the same day which is excellent if you're a student/really need it. However, most of the receptionists are pretty stroppy, and a few have a surprisingly bad attitude.

The bad mannered staff, particularly reception, have brought down this review. They need to learn to show a bare minimum level of respect towards other people. It seems as though they wake up in the morning and think "I can't wait to go to work and argue and be rude with others".

Never had any problems with the service offered by the doctors but the reception staff are always very short with people, especially foreign students who obviously need a little more help. The appointment system is absolutely ridiculous, especially now that I'm working and can't drop half a day to wait around for an appointment. No possibility to book ahead which makes it impossible to plan your time. Looking to move to another practice now with a more realistic appointment system.

Grateful, service through recrptionist to the dentist. I Hated going to the dentist.nobody likes going. 😉ps put a smile on my face

While the doctors since I was a student here, have always been very professional and helpful, the reception staff have often been extremely rude and unprofessional. The last thing one wants when feeling unwell, is having to argue with rude reception staff who look down on the people coming to make appointments. For patient care, and patient service, this is certainly far from ideal.

Okay doctors but appointment system is ridiculous. Unless you show up in the morning, there is no chance of getting one for later on in the day (apparently they are all booked as they give priority to left over walk-ins). Very unthoughtful to people working early morning shifts or have class. Have had to fight over the phone to be seen for sth urgent. Repeat prescription service is okay. I understand this is a busy student practice but simply don't sign so many people up if you can't accommodate them.

Great practice, been registered with them since my time as a student. Love the drop in appointment system myself as it offers appointments both in mornings and afternoons, all you have to do is show up and make the appointment. The old appointment system was ridiculous as appointment slots filled up weeks in advance and with this I can now just go in the morning, be seen before work or arrange a suitable afternoon appointment.
All the staff and doctors are friendly and never hesitate to answer questions.

Impossible to get an appointment if you have class in the morning. No way to book online. Staff is extremely rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional.

Normally great where I'm concerned, but sometimes the reception refuse to give my daughter her asthma medication. She has ended up in a & e. Due to being refused asthma inhalers and steroids. Not good. You would think the receptionist was paying for them. Even when her asthma specialist says she should always have this medication

Got a same day appointment with Dr Taylor. She's probably the best doctor I've even seen.
