Barclays Bank (Permanently Closed)

Disgraceful Bank.

Four members of staff off sick just now.

Trying to get my mother's Bank account closed down as she is deceased. A simple matter you would think ?? Well... Think twice.

So far this has involved two trips to the branch. The first time, none of the documentation was forwarded to the bereavement team. The branch think it may be in a safe but nobody has the keys.

Returned yesterday. Dealt with a member of staff who repeatedly left the room. I was told I would get travel expenses back. I did not.

Beyond stressful dealing with this branch.

Today I have to ring the bereavement team to find out if they have the documents.

Actually shd be closed down as a branch and investigations done into their conduct.

Staff are very friendly and always have time to help easy access ,,,
