Barracuda

Great food as always. Im a customer in Barracuda for a wee while and they almost never let me down with food quality. They seem to put prices up since new owner take over this place. But can't say a bad word about food as it's the same good and very yummy. Recommend this place for fish, pizzas and testy chicken wrap which I got often.

Fish supper and pies really tasty. Stayed at hotel opposite and just eat form here! Very friendly and kebabs are the freshest I've fasten for some time!

Hrrat place..food is sleays lovely and fesh and staff are friendly..love that they do half portions too

Had pepperoni Pizza delivered last night, didn't taste like pepperoni at all, more like a salami , have just phoned shop, they are insisting it is what was ordered. Offered to bring it to the shop to show them, not interested. Feel very let down by the boss who says using the same for 5 months, didn't taste like normal. Anyone else had this problem would be interested in hearing. Many thanks.

I dont have a lot of "chippies" but always enjoyed Barracuda of old when it was under previous management. I tried it tonight but it was poor, poor, poor. I heard Giovanni's from the other end of Northfield bought them out. Well, sorry but I won't use it again. The fish smelled "fishy" and was pappy inside the batter, the mince pie was dry and overcooked so you could hardly get your teeth through the crust.
To me it seemed like what was left last night, refried.
Never again

Delicious fish and chips cooked fresh to order. Good selection of side orders and alternatives. Certainly lived up to its billing as Edinburgh Evening News Chippy of the Year.
