One week today Basecamp is going ‘out of season’ with a banger bbq. We will have a variety of options on our bbq next week sausages, chilli and macaroni burgers. Something for everyone. If you would like to book a table for our “Big Banging BBQ” please give us a call on 01557840217.
Also today don’t forgot we will be barbecuing our local pork and mustard sausages served in hot dog roll with fried onions and a choice of Brie or cheddar cheese. What a way to end the holidays!

What a difference a day makes. Storm Ali didn’t get the better of us here at Basecamp we are back up and running today. Open from 9am. 🤩☀️

Due to a very very blustery basecamp today we have had decided close due to power cuts and extreme weather up here on the hill. We intend to open as normal tomorrow Thursday 20th Sept. Batten down the hatches and stay safe 💨 💨 💨

Well today our “Islay” wanted to show off her baking skills, so she was let loose in the Basecamp kitchen and look at this amazing sticky toffee crispy slice she has created 😍🍫🍪 yummy! Be quick to come and try a piece I don’t think it will be long until it flies off the shelf.

we won last weeks like and share, so we had our barbecue sunday lunch, excellent, we would recommend the basecamp to anybody, service and the food was excellent and the view, is there another cafe with a view like that, i have never come across one. laggan is a great day out for all the family.

What an amazing place, lads loved it (aged 13 and 11), spent all afternoon here, staff were very friendly and helpful. Cannot wait to come back again

We've been really lucky with the weather and could enjoy a nice lunch at the terasse with superb views and a super tasty homemade haggis roll, falafel wrap, salmon bagel and cappuccino! Very friendly service, too! Thanks Maria and team. Next time we come we will also try the activities at the outdoor center :-)

We were here for just a cuo of tea and cake, it was warm cosy and dog friendly too! The scone and Jam was truly beautiful as was the shortbread. At last a place where no taste of chlorine in the tea. Reasonably priced too. Be up there for lunch soon. Setting is Beautiful all in all a lovely friendly environment.

We visited on Thursday evening for the Raclette evening. If you've not experienced this before, you must. Delicious meats and vegetables brought to your table for you to cook on your own hot stone and a selection of cheeses to melt underneath.The marinated steak was so tender and I loved the Edam cheese melted and eaten with the sourdough bread.

We stayed here for the week and had brunch every day at base camp which is the best food around and not to mention the most stunning view! We ate at BBQ and raclette night too which was equally fantastic. What a find!!! Can't wait to go back...

We hired the bbq hut at Laggan Outdoor for a friends birthday and it was AMAZING!! The chef came up and cooked us a fabulous two course meal on the bbq while we sat around the fire, drinking prosecco and gazing at the breath taking views! Can't recommend this enough! Next time we must combine it with lunch at base camp, an afternoon at Laggan Outdoor and then an overnight stay in a sea snug!

We got a xmas present of one night in a snug so decided on 2 nights, The Ben is fantastic with stunning views, breakfast at basecamp was good, zip wire great staff are all so friendly and accommodating so looking forward to curry night tonight, shame we have to go home tomorrow it's been so relaxing x

Stunning views, beautiful food, friendly staff...what more can you ask for? Well worth a visit even just for a gaze across the bay, a coffee and a sweet treat :)

Really great experience even though the weather was very wet and overcast which says a lot! Hot chocolate and flapjacks were wonderful and so was the view. If you like a cosy seat by a wood burner and a panoramic view its the place to be. I hope to be back doing something more active (!) on a nice sunny day.

Really good place, lots to do and very resonabley priced, cafe staff where very helpful and food was brilliant, they also made sure food was ready for a time to fit in between activities as we only had a short break. Will definitely return next year.

Popped in yesterday with my daughter's for a quick brew after having a picnic on the beach. The place was heaving and staff were flat out but still served us quickly and politely. We managed to get a wee bench at the window which was perfect. My girl's shared a brownie and had a fruit juice and I had a coffee and could taste the quality. The food being served looked fantastic and I'm gutted we had a picnic prior to going. Will definitely be back and have already recommended.

Omg had a fantastic day here yesterday...... I did the zip slide it was amazing, the view was also stunning. The staff were lovely, really reassuring and friendly. Will definitely be back might even do another zip slide 🙂🙂🙂

Had a fantastic afternoon here yesterday. Did the zip wire and Segway, both fantastic experiences. Cafe had a good selection of food and very reasonable.

Staff all very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

Excellent and very friendly staff who looked after me well whilst staying at the most lovely Sea View Snugs. Top quality local produce and a view to die for; what is not to like?

During a very busy weekend at Laggan the food was outstanding! I can’t think of anywhere in the area that would do a steak as well as Jamie did last night. Then there was Johnny’s Sunday BBQ today! Well, I have no words. Ridiculously good! I love food and I love theirs even more! �

Amazing! Thank you for a very special birthday weekend! Food delicious anytime of the day! Breakfast pancakes to die for!!
