The Food Assembly Bathgate is a community initiative bringing you the best, seasonal produce direct from local farmers and producers

We are an online farmers market with an interesting twist. Meeting weekly at the Regal Theatre in Bathgate, customers get the opportunity to meet the producers when collecting orders. Get some hints and tips and find out more about the produce.

All the food comes from an average of 26 miles and there is no food waste as the products are pre-ordered.

For every £1 spent, 90p stays in the local economy.

Selling through The Food Assembly, farmers and foodmakers get over 80% for every product sold, compared to the 15% -25% that most supermarkets offer them.

So, everyone gets a better deal: Our community gets to know each other, farmers get a fairer price for their work, and you get locally sourced, unique produce: the most delicious food available!
