Bathgate Thistle Sunday AFC are a football team who play amateur Sunday football in the Lothian & Edinburgh Amateur FA league.
Founded in 2008, originally under the name Bathgate Athletic AFC, the first few years the club had an up and down period finishing mostly mid table. At the end of 2011 the team joined local Saturday Amateur side Bathgate Thistle AFC to become the Sunday Amateur side and will fall under the new community club structure with the 2008 Scottish Junior champions Bathgate Thistle FC.
In 2014 we managed to reach the last 32 of the Sunday sottish cup, had a mid-table finish despite some positive results at the start of the season but finally won our first trophy in the League cup. It was a good competitive game with an after party to remember.
As of the 2015 /16 season the club begin a new chapter with a completely new squad and management structure.
