PERSONAL - NOT BUSINESS - ITS A SELF-INDULGENCE BUT THAT JUST HOW IT IS.
What’s special about a birthday, well actually only one thing, and that’s being able to wake up on your birthday and go about your normal daily routine, which might even include some sort of celebration.
So it’s really life itself, is the best gift one could be given.
... Well needless to say if you are reading this your one of the lucky ones, (maybe some amongst you might debate that as possibly this life may only a test for the next one, for many of my friends and relations, that’s a discussion for another day).
We all have to die of something, but unfortunately, we don’t get to choose which disease or illness which will bring about our own demise.
From the day we are bone we are set on a path to eventually die – sobering thought, but that’s something surely nobody could disagree with ?
This journey is sometime too quick, sometimes very painful, sometime very unfair, but if we are lucky it’s can be a great journey that you’ll never want to end.
As the most intelligent, sophisticated animals on our planet, ( that’s very debateable when you consider many of the bad things we do to each other, or cause to “ lesser “ animal species, and now actually may even be causing uncertainty to the very earth’s stability itself which will undoubtedly effect our own future families in years to come.
We try to prolong our journey by doing by whatever means we can, and unfortunately one simple thing we can all do is spending money on research into various disease, of which there are many very worth while causes.
A couple of years ago my daughter, George, and I did Kilimanjaro and raised about £3000 for PKD, this year’s I’m just sitting on my arse doing nothing so not expecting to raise this sort of money, must be a age thing !!
However I know all my FB friends are just rushing out to buy those belated birthday present, well please don’t. Just log on the my fund raising page and donate the cost of a postage stamp instead.
It’s a win - win situation you save money and somebody somewhere is able to live a wee bit longer.
Now we’ll see what FB “ friend” actual read this, 66p isn’t asking too much and I certainly don’t free the slightest bit embarrassed or guilty in asking you to donate.
My real friends know me better 🤗

Beautiful baby rabbits bread from our own in house rabbits, these will be ready from 29th August onwards. Order taken with a £15.00 deposit. Some have already been booked so don't leave it too late before coming to have a look. All our rabbit kits are well handled and make super pets. Please remember rabbits need lots of attention and sensitive loving handling, they are not just to look or be left in their hutches until they are cleaned (daily).

A long life has just ended for Paddy the Llama, at the age of 25 he was the oldest llama "in town" (actually the UK) so we were informed by the official British Llama Society. Two year later until this week he was still going strong being his normal slightly aloof independent self - He will be missed.
