Stayed one night as we planned to climb Ben Wyvis the next day. The hotel was nice, ok not Luxury and could probably do with some paint in places but all in all it was clean. Our double room was nice, decor was good and the size was not to bad with a nice clean bathroom. We never ate at night but breakfast was good, buffet so help yourself. There was at least one coach tour in when we arrived and the entertainment was set up for the older generation but we still had a couple of pints in the bar. Check out was hassle free and the receptionist was nice and asked us about our plans.

Old-fashioned hotel with a lift that belongs in a technical museum. Mediocre dinner and a truly frugal breakfast (no fresh vegetables and no fresh fruit). And the coffee is a joke!

Thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay. The staff were first class and the entertainment was most enjoyable. A lovely location for a holiday break.

We were here for an overnight stay, and up on the third floor. The hotel is old and definitely focused on pensioner coach group customers.

Staff have been great, and the buffet breakfast was alright. But the phone in our room didn't work, as we discovered at 2am when we had to call reception thanks to a couple having a domestic in the room next to us (thin walls). Besides that it's warm, though the bed wasn't very comfy and the pillows were hard and flat.

Hotel warm and welcoming, set in the small village of Strathpeffer not a lot around but a lovely base to go off exploring. Staff friendly nothing to much trouble not that we asked or needed anything extra.Bedrooms decent size so is bathroom, nicely decorated and warm, plenty of complementary tea, coffee and milk so you can make yourself a nice cuppa. Little soaps provided but no shampoo not a problem as I had my own. Food is varied and served nicely no complaints there.all in all very good value would definitely stay again.

Old, unmaintained coach party hotel. Very noisy, packed in, conveyor line food with no taste.
