We were here for the first time last night and we absolutely loved it. The place was immaculate, the service was excellent and the food was tremendous. I had the garlic chilli chicken and it's by far the best I've had. We will definitely be back and would recommend the place to anyone.

We got a take away for the first time last week and it was amazing. Good value and the delivery was super fast. As it was a Sunday I expected the delivery to take ages but we received the meals in less than an hour.



I had the lamb madras which was beautiful, the lamb was so tender, no need to use a knife to cut it. My husband had the Shakuti - chicken tikka as he'd never tried it, he said it was delicious and had a nice kick to it.

we also got a pilau rice, chili garlic nan and a seekh kebab as a starter (which was extremely tasty.



I would get a take away from here again and would like to visit at some point to try the restaurant. Highly recommended

We go here quite a lot with the kids. Food is excellent every time. Butter chicken is to die for and the garlic nan is the ultimate nan bread.

Was at the Bay Leaf last nite. Thought I wud try something different and went for the Kerala Fish Curry and I was not disappointed at all Gail also had something different for a change Chicken Bhuna she enjoyed it.. But that fish curry was amazing fish was so succulent and the sauce it was cooked in fantastic flavour.

The best quality indian food in the area by a long way. Great staff who are always welcoming and attentive. The menu is extensive with specialities as well as the classics and suitable for all tastes including a large vegetarian choice. There's plenty of seating and in this very clean restaurant. Well worth a visit to this little local gem.

The best Indian food I've ever tasted, even better than Mr Singhs. Staff are helpful and welcoming, can not recommend Bay Leaf enough, we will be back.

My husband and I Claimed my prize of a buffet meal for two today. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff were extremely tentative and the restaurant itself was lovely. We will definitely return, first class dining from beginning to end. Highly recommended �

Just been and it was ace, great food and service, you get starters as soon as you sit down so no more waiting to get started.

I’m never disappointed when I come to The Bay Leaf. Excellent food with my family. The best company ever!

Excellent place, great choice and the food was superb.

Been 6 or 7 times now for a sit-in meal with wife & daughter, always great food & great service

No complaints as such on food service and price just the choice for buffet could b more ... Eg more than 1 choice of rice and nan and more dishes !

My favourite place to eat Indian food. We use this place as a take away and in Sunday’s for family dinner. Can’t say anything bad about the food or service. Only thing is it gets really busy now and staff seem to struggle a bit. One small complaint is that they only have one high chair so we bring our own. Great place tho.

I have to say I have been 3 times and every time I am there the only thing I think you should change is your phone it constantly rings the whole time you are there to eat your meal . It is very loud and no one seems to answer it for ages I think if it was my company i would have a flash instead of a ring or someone manning the phone not at the front desk or even quicker to answer . Constant ringing during your meal is very off putting

Food was good but the service let the place down. Management need to get a plan for service as the staff looked busy not knowing what was going on and when. A few people around were complaining of long waits too.

Loved the food here but the service was completely awful. We were seated and waiter barely acknowledged us for drinks, we had to shout to take our order.

Ordered our starters and mains, waiter brought us them all at once. I advised him immediately we ordered starters and mains not all to be ate at once, he shrugged his shoulders and said that’s just when they were ready so we brought them all together. I never chance sending food back to a kitchen to eat afterwords so we kept them at the table. Not a good answer though and didn’t even offer us to return our mains while we ate our starters.

Once we were finished our meal which we could barely eat since it all came at once we tried to get the attention of a waiter for around 20 minutes to get our bill and take our left over food away with us. He cleared our table and never came back for a further 15 minutes. People who came in after us had ate properly and left when we were still waiting for our table to be looked at. We wasted £48 here on Saturday night for food we could barely eat due to the poor service. Don’t recommend anyone to eat here and it wasn’t even busy when we went in at first!
