The kids love it here. There is plenty of space to park and the staff are friendly.

User

Great fun on the flumes and in the pool with my kids. The waves topped it off. Friendly staff

User

Great fun morning - waves , flumes and friendly staff - dunno how folks can slate it , clearly some folks wouldn't be happy anywhere lol

User

Good value for money, friendly staff, loved the waves and the flumes. Definitely return 😊

User

Amazing timetable for group classes. Dedicated and motivated instructors that give 110% in order for you to get the best out of their classes. Friendly and welcoming staff as soon as you walk through the front doors! Highly recommend

User

Was ok, water about cold, chutes never open when we r here:( but daughter had fun

User

This & leven best in Fife, Kirkcaldy is pants needs better stuff

User

Nice pool and water was not too cold, kids really enjoyed it!

User

Great place to go . Pool was nice and not cold for the kids .just felt we weren't in very long before we had to come out and we weren't aloud to pay to stay in

User

Great for the kids with the flumes and wave pool

User

Travelled from Livingston to try somewhere different, checked on website and looked good with flumes and wave machine. On arrival to the changing area we found that the flumes were closed and no wave machine pool was good enough just disappointed there was no mention of flume/wave machine closure on website or by staff when paying. Will probably visit again but will phone first to see if everything is open.

User

Pool a good size, however water is quite cold, changing rooms are relatively clean, although nappy bins overflowing with dirty nappies. Wouldn't make my visits here a regular thing unless the water in the pools was warmer.

User

We took our granddaughter to the , disco, tonight. The steam room wasn't working, the waves weren't working, and the disco was 90s music being played for the average age in the pool 10/12. We went to the cafe to get a coffee , which was closed, but had a coffee machine. The tables were dirty, with cans and cups everywhere. The changing rooms were disgusting and stank.. Just to put the icing on the cake, while waiting in reception, where the only seating was a broken couch, the girl behind the desk taking the money ect, was talking very loudly, and swearing profoundly. I do not want my granddaughter hearing this kind of language,. I was disgusted with almost everything about the visit, and can honestly say this is not a great addition to a lovely town. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss this with management.

User

Visited today for the first time in years! My boy was so excited that there were flumes and a wave machine.however we were very disappointed to find that the pool closes at 4pm on Saturdays.why?? The weekends are the only time parents/kids can come after 330 so I was very disappointed to only have 40 minutes with my son in the pool.

Surely these times need looked into. The pool was still fairly busy and another poor family got turned away at the desk. We are supposed to be encouraging people to get fit so please rethink your opening times .

Also pool was pretty cold! Another parent commented to me that she probably wouldn't take her baby back there he was shivering.

User

I have been coming here most Sunday's with the kids but couldn't enjoy it today as the water was so cold the kids were freezing!

User

Well what can I say ? Went for a swim with the family today and me and my wife are disgusted with the condition of the place . The toilets were stinking of urine and just looked like they aren't cleaned regularly . The bit you walk down to the pool is really black . If this is due to cut backs then fife council should be ashamed . And to be honest I won't be back

Really dissatisfied

User

Twice tried to take the kids and told WERE CLOSED whats the point of having this place at all, staff sittin doin hee haw and gettin paid for it.

Angry is an understatement!!!

User

Leisure centre? What is "Leisurely" about this place? The swimming pool is more like some sort of Victorian torture....... I visited today with my daughter, AFTER paying we were informed that public swimming is restricted to 1 lane and the "Beach area"... The only resemblance of a beach is the temperature on Kirkclady prom in December........ I then asked about the flumes to be informed that the sessions for this are 1.30pm to 3.30pm. There are no such restrictions on the website, nor on the timetable I picked up today..... It is mid August, all UK schools are off, yet they dont cater for families....... Surely if a public swimming session is being restricted to 1 lane, and an area for toddlers that is 0.5m deep, with no use of the flumes this should be reflected in the price????? Best thing about the Beacon Leisure centre is the door on the way out.....

Please do not respond to this review like you have with every other review saying my comments will be passed on as the management clearly don't give a damn about public opinion, this is clear by every other review I have now read and nothing has changed!
