Bead Me Up Scotty Description
Welcome to "Bead Me Up Scotty". My name is Myra Robertson & I was born & brought up in the beautiful city of Edinburgh but now live in the North East of England. I trained as a Florist in one of Edinburghs' largerst florists whose clients included Holyrood Palace (The Queens' Edinburgh residence), The Royal Bank of Scotland, The Brittish Linen Bank, Mappin & Webb & Australia House to name but a few. I eventually opened up my own Florist business which I ran for twenty years closing down in 2011. Working with flowers for so many years has given me a love of colours & the ability to match colours together & I have now decided to take my passion for beading a step further & offer my creations for sale. Each item is a "one of" therefore no two pieces will ever be identical unless I am commissioned to do so ie for bridesmaids etc. so you can be assured that if you purchase one of my pieces you are getting something that is totally unique. Morning everyone hope you are all coping with the situation we all find ourselves in. Hopefully if everyone sticks to the guidelines we will be able to get our lives back to some sort of normality. The outlets where I had my beadwork have closed until further notice and all the craft fairs I had booked have been cancelled but I've still been busy beading. I have several Christmas orders which were placed before all the turmoil and I will be starting them soon. In the meantime here are a few pics of my recent beading.
