They did it!! Karen and a great group of women and girls successfully did the Race for Life in Peterborough on Sunday 24th, in a wonderful 1hour 5minutes. The weather was glorious and the views around the lake at Ferry Meadows on a beautiful Sunday morning couldn’t have been better.
We all want to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone, friends and customers, who sponsored Karen and her gang! To date they‚Äôve raised a huge ¬£2,840 and we couldn‚Äôt have do it without you all! If you‚Äôd still like to sponsor, there‚Äôs still time. Thank you ūüíē

25 years ago our co-owner Karen ran the great north run, she battled her way to a respectable time, and was met by her family and friends at the finishing line. But unfortunately for the past 16 years Karen has been fighting a much bigger fight, battling her way against cancer, in an epic fight to avoid reaching the finishing line.
Karen will be in a wheelchair doing this year’s Race for Life at ferry meadows, Peterborough on Sunday 24th June, this time with her family and f...riends all around her.

On Friday 16th February Beans will be 14 years old - can you believe it's been that long?! ūüéą
But there's no teenage angst or rebellion going on here - we're just thrilled that we're still alive and thriving!
So we want to thank those who've made the past 14 years possible - our customers and our staff - by celebrating our birthday in style.
... Friday 16th February is a PAY-WHAT-YOU-WANT day, so there's no fixed prices for our great coffee, teas, famous milkshakes or our home-made cakes and tasty snacks and light meals - our customers can simply pay us what they want!
We're hoping for a great day's celebration, and are confident that everyone will benefit, because all proceeds over and above what we would normally have charged will be split 50/50, half to our staff and the other half to Cancer Research.
